"Knowledge is Power". This adage is gaining more relevance in the present era of globalization where 'knowledge economy' is fast outgrowing the 'old economy'. As a result, different aspects of technical education and particularly that of engineering education have been changing to keep pace with the process of globalization. This requires innovative thinking and practice on part of technical educational institutes. This realization has led to the genesis of a state-of-the-art engineering institute, TempleCity Institute of Technology & Engineering (TITE), under the aegis of Knowledge Trust. In a time when Orissa is in the limelight for its various potential to surge ahead in global economy, establishment of TITE has been a significant and timely intervention to promote quality engineering education in the State.
